We’ve taken a look at the Nikon D5100 digital SLR camera and found a device that combines automation with artistic flair.

Featuring a 16.2MP CMOS sensor and 11-point auto focus, this Nikon digital SLR camera has 4 fps continuous shooting with a high-resolution swivel vari-angle LCD screen. The result? A digital camera that captures images from multiple angles.

So, apart from the technical features, what does this digital SLR camera offer? Start with an easy to use menu that will enhance your photographic skills and high definition movies.

Nikon has taken image quality to another level – and they’ve done so by combining a 16.2 MP CMOS sensor with Nikon’s latest EXPEED 2 image processor.

We love the 3-inch tilt and swivel screen. So too the wide ISO range and large optical viewfinder – features that ensure you can take creative shots from any perspective.

This Nikon SLR camera also has full HD movie mode that comes complete with the latest in full-time autofocus, Live View and a Movie Start button to make recording a breeze.

We’d suggest this camera to photographic enthusiasts looking for a mid-range camera. It may be slightly lower spec’d that the D7000, but it’s packed with features that make it a step up from Nikon’s D3100 or D5000.
